Asthma is a chronic condition caused by inflammation of the airways in response to certain irritants. As a result, patients experience wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and chest pain. It is one of the most common lung conditions, affecting approximately 262 million people worldwide.

Drastic environmental changes over the past 20 years have increased the prevalence of asthma by up to 20%. This condition is not only triggered by environmental factors but can also be influenced by genetics. Asthma attacks can occur suddenly and often become a significant hurdle in daily life. People living with asthma face both physical and social limitations, driving the need for better treatment options.

If you are suffering from asthma, Revival Research Institute is conducting Asthma Clinical Trials, exploring potential new treatment options.

About Asthma Clinical Trials

Poorly controlled asthma leads to more frequent asthma attacks, increased hospitalizations, missed school or workdays, and difficulty performing strenuous activities. These recurring exacerbations can slow down or even pause your ability to reach personal and professional goals, while also taking a toll on emotional health. Everyone deserves to breathe without struggle, and clinical trials are making that possible.

At Revival Research Institute, we are conducting a clinical trial designed for people living with asthma. This research study is evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational treatment that may help manage symptoms and potentially reduce the risks that come with asthma.

The clinical trial is available at several locations across Michigan, U.S. To participate, individuals will need to complete a screening process to determine eligibility and be willing to follow all study-related procedures.

*All study-related care, including physical exams, lab work, and investigational treatment, is provided at no cost. Insurance is not required, and eligible participants may receive compensation for time and travel.

*If you’re interested in learning more, fill out the form above. A member of our research team will reach out to guide you through the next steps and discuss your health history to see if you may qualify.

What to Expect?

If you are living with asthma, you may qualify for a paid clinical trial exploring new treatment options. After completing the interest form above, a member of our research team will reach out for a brief pre-screening call. During this call, we’ll ask a few questions to see if you meet the initial eligibility criteria.

If you qualify, you’ll be asked to review and sign an Informed Consent Form (ICF). This form explains the purpose of the study, what participation involves, and any potential risks or benefits. Once we have your consent, we will invite you to visit one of our clinical research sites for a full screening appointment.

During this visit, our team will gather your medical history, conduct a physical exam, and perform lab tests to determine final eligibility. If all criteria are met, you may be eligible to participate in the Asthma Clinical Trial.

Our experienced team is here to walk you through every step, answer all your questions, and ensure that you feel comfortable and well-informed. Your participation plays a vital role in advancing research and future care for asthma.

Behind the Breathlessness: Living with Asthma

Asthma Studies

Asthma is a serious lung condition that affects nearly 25 million people in the United States. It occurs when the airways become inflamed. This inflammation causes the airways to narrow and produce excessive mucus, making it difficult to breathe. Common allergenic and non-allergenic triggers of asthma include dust, pollen, environmental changes, certain medications, and elevated stress.

Not being able to take part in sports because strenuous activities make it hard to breathe, avoiding outdoor plans for fear of pollen exposure, or missing work because stress triggers asthma flare-ups, these are all struggles no one with asthma wants but often has to face. Above all, untreated asthma reduces lung function over time, decreasing both quality of life and life expectancy. So instead of letting asthma control you, it’s time for you to take the reins.
