Living with Bipolar Depression?
Participate in Bipolar Depression Clinical Trials and Help Advance Future Mental Health Research
Bipolar depression is a phase of bipolar I or bipolar II disorder characterized by persistent depressive symptoms that can significantly affect daily functioning, relationships, work, and overall quality of life. Individuals living with bipolar depression often spend substantially more time experiencing depressive episodes than manic or hypomanic episodes, making effective treatment an important unmet medical need.
Although several treatment options are available, many individuals continue to experience ongoing symptoms or discontinue therapy because of side effects or limited effectiveness. Researchers continue to investigate innovative therapies that may offer potential treatment options for adults living with bipolar depression.
To help advance future treatment options, Revival Research Institute is conducting Bipolar Depression Clinical Trials evaluating an investigational study medication for adults diagnosed with bipolar I or bipolar II disorder who are currently experiencing a depressive episode. The study is designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the investigational treatment.

The Importance of Bipolar Depression Clinical Trials

Bipolar disorder affects approximately 40 million people worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Depressive episodes account for a significant portion of the illness and are often associated with impaired daily functioning, reduced quality of life, increased healthcare utilization, and a higher risk of suicide.
Although treatment options exist, many individuals continue to experience persistent depressive symptoms or inadequate responses to currently available therapies. Clinical research is essential for evaluating investigational treatments that may improve symptom management while maintaining safety and tolerability.
