Living with Psoriasis can impact more than just your skin; it can affect your confidence, comfort, and emotional well-being. This chronic autoimmune condition leads to red, itchy, and scaly patches that may flare up unpredictably and interfere with daily life. Psoriasis affects approximately 2–3% of the global population, making it one of the most common skin disorders worldwide.

Revival Research Institute is conducting a clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of investigational medications that may help reduce psoriasis symptoms and flare-ups. This research aims to generate valuable data that could lead to improved treatment options and better outcomes for those living with psoriasis.

This clinical trial is being conducted at our dedicated research sites in Michigan. If you qualify, you may receive study-related care and either investigational treatment or a placebo at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may also be available for eligible participants.

*All study procedures and study-related treatments, including the investigational drug, are provided at no cost, and no insurance is required to participate. If eligible, participants may receive compensation for time and travel.

Get Started: What to Expect?

If you suffer from plaque psoriasis and want to participate in a research study, fill out the form above. Someone from the research staff will call you and see if you can qualify for the study. If you are eligible, you may be invited to the nearest site’s location to complete the screening process. You will be asked to sign an Informed Consent Form. Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder that causes red, itchy, and scaly patches to appear on one’s skin. For people with this condition, skin cells tend to multiply 10 times faster than normal. There is no cure for this condition. However, the condition tends to flare in cycles and may heal and return throughout a person’s life. Certain psoriasis medications or treatments may be able to help people manage their symptoms or flare-ups.

It can appear as red, thick, scaly, and raised skin, covered by white or scales. It most commonly affects the areas of the knees, elbows, and scalp. Scalp psoriasis is also very common and can be uncomfortable. Hands are also a very sensitive area and psoriasis on the hands is just as common. Although, it can occur on any part of the body.

One of the most common causes of this skin condition is when the immune system starts attacking the skin cells. If you’re sick or fighting off an infection, your immune system goes overdrive and can cause flare-ups. There may be other causes which include genetics, or certain triggers like stress, injury, or medications that are known to induce the condition.

Currently, there is no permanent cure for psoriasis. However, treatments like steroid creams, salicylic acid, immunosuppressants, and phototherapy can help manage symptoms. If conventional options aren’t working, consider joining a paid psoriasis clinical trial at Revival Research Institute to explore new investigational treatments.

The Psoriasis Clinical Trials in Michigan are being conducted to study the safety, effectiveness, and tolerability of the experimental drug in human beings. There is no known cure for this condition; however, with the study drug, we are trying to observe how well it can help treat psoriasis symptoms.
