Plaque psoriasis is a common skin condition that causes red, scaly, and itchy patches on the skin to appear. These patches of raised skin most commonly occur on the scalp (scalp psoriasis), elbows, and knees. If you’ve been diagnosed with this condition, you may be eligible to participate in the paid psoriasis research study that may be able to help you find relief from your condition.

You may be eligible to participate in the research study if you:

Are 18 years or older
Have been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis for more than 6 months
Have moderate to severe plaque psoriasis

We’re conducting a phase 2 clinical trial to see how well the study drug works as a plaque psoriasis treatment and to observe its safety and efficacy.

About Psoriasis Study

The Psoriasis Clinical Trials in Michigan is a phase 2, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial. This means that you may either receive the study drug or a placebo drug. A placebo is a medication but without the active ingredient. Anyone interested in participating in a research study will receive study-related care, from expert healthcare professionals including doctors and nurses. If you decide to participate in this research study, the study doctor will discuss with you in detail about the study and what will be expected of you including completing the study visits and the e-Diary that may be provided to you and, to be completely honest about your past and current medical history.

Males and females above the age of 18 years with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis are eligible to volunteer in this research study. To test out the tolerability and the safety of potential psoriasis treatment, we will monitor your condition and collect information on any adverse events, clinical laboratory results, ECG findings, and vital signs throughout the study period.

*All qualified volunteers who decide to participate in the Psoriasis study are eligible for a stipend that they may receive for their time and travel expenses. Your participation is free of cost and is completely voluntary. This means that you could choose to leave at any time. And no insurance is required to participate.

If you suffer from plaque psoriasis and want to participate in a research study, fill out the form above. Someone from the research staff will call you and see if you can qualify for the study. If you are eligible, you may be invited to the nearest site’s location to complete the screening process. You will be asked to sign an Informed Consent Form. Before signing the form, the study doctor will clearly explain to you everything about the study, the risks and benefits of the study psoriasis treatment, details about the study visits, and everything that may be expected of you. During this time, we encourage every volunteer to ask as many questions as they’d like and to only sign the Informed Consent Form once they are satisfied with all the information.

Participation in Revival Research Institute’s Psoriasis Clinical Trials in Michigan is completely voluntary, and participants can leave at any time. Volunteers will receive stipends for every visit they complete to the time and will be compensated for their time and travel. We are conducting Psoriasis paid clinical trials on a potential psoriasis treatment or study drug, which means that it is being tested and has not been approved by the FDA for use anywhere other than in studies like this one.

Potential Psoriasis treatment in Michigan

Plaque psoriasis is an inflammatory skin condition that is characterized by raised, itchy, red, and scaly skin covered with white or silver scales. The plaques occur due to the skin cells multiplying at a faster rate which causes raised buildups that can be itchy and painful. It most commonly occurs on the elbows, knees, and scalp but it can also appear anywhere else on the body. For many people with the condition, scalp psoriasis is very common. It causes plaques of scales or crust to develop on the scalp. This condition is not contagious and cannot be transferred through touch. However, it can be passed down in families through genetics.
