Work Location: 28270 Franklin Rd., Suite F, Southfield, MI 48034.
Job Duties: Responsible for clinical research projects, in compliance with corporate standard operating procedures and relevant regulations, and liaise with department managers, as necessary. Develop and maintain detailed project plans and maintenance of medical research science database. Monitor projects and proactively recognize any changes in scope and collaborate with senior management to ensure timely completion of change orders. Responsible for project budgets to ensure financial targets are met through regular reviews of indirect costs and project resources and collaborate with finance department to ensure accurate revenue recognition. Monitor metrics to ensure quality and performance standards are met by all medical research staff. Act as the primary point of contact for scientific researchers and sponsors. Responsible for progress of site identification, start-up, calibration of equipment in the lab, and study close-out activities, working with sponsor personnel and/or Medical Research Scientists. Develop, deliver, and document training for medical research staff. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to project staff including assistant medical research scientists, nurses, principal investigators, and other clinic staff. Develop a succession plan, and in the event of a team change, ensure a thorough and effective handover per standard operating procedures. Develop study deliverables including database monitoring system to monitor different medical research protocols.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Medical Research Science, Health Sciences, Public Health, Chemistry, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Laboratory Technologist or related experience. 40hrs/week.
