Dr. Sumbul Islam, M.D., is a board-certified internist who has been practicing in the Dallas, Texas, area since 2017. She earned her M.D. from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan in 1995 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Spectrum Health–Michigan State University and Kansas University Medical Center. With years of experience as a hospitalist and internist, Dr. Islam has worked at WNJ Hospital in Sherman, Texas, and has also served as a medical director in rehab centers and hospice care units. Currently, she is the CEO of Imperial Care Internal Medicine and the associate director of Visiting Nurse Association Hospice.
